Tasting Dinners
The Weinhaus is proud to partner with local restaurants in WNC in creating some really spectacular wine tasting dinners. The prices listed below are inclusive of all gratuities and taxes. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Weinhaus. We encourage you to plan ahead as some dinners can fill up quickly. If you have a reservation and your plans change, please call us as soon as possible, as we have a 48 hour cancellation policy. We understand that things often come up at the last minute, but because of the group nature of our events, our partner restaurants are often required to purchase the evening's menu in advance.
Saturday, August 28, 2010 Wine Tasting for Slowfood’s F.E.A.S.T. Program We will join the local Slow Food Convivium in a fund raiser for their program for fresh local food in schools. Join us for wine paired with local, seasonal, and freshly prepared food. This is an affordable and fun event with all proceeds going towards a good cause.

Tuesday, August 31, 2010 — Vincenzo’s One of the highlights of our schedule is a wine dinner at Vincenzo’s Ristorante. Owner Dwight Butner and Chef Kenville Thompson oversee some of the highest quality service in the Asheville area. On this evening we will partake of a five course meal with wines chosen to pair with the food by the Weinhaus. Make plans to join us.

Tuesday, September 14, 2010 – Marco’s Trattoria in Brevard Marc Dambax has continually impressed us as one of the most dynamically talented chefs in the region. His attention to detail from preparation to presentation comes through in every exquisite creation. These are five courses to which we are already looking forward. The Weinhaus will be sure to choose wines to compliment the fair.

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 – The Orchard at Broadmoor Dwight Butner, owner of Vincenzo’s has opened the restaurant at Broadmoor Country Club and has brought the same attention to detail to it as to Vincenzo’s. On this evening we will dine on the terrace with a view of the beautiful French Broad River valley. Chef Kenville and his staff will prepare a delightful five course meal and the Weinhaus will select wines to pair with each course.
