Oktoberfest Beer Dinner
Those of you who have dined at the Bavarian Lodge know
"Doc". He has a way with food that keeps you coming back
again and again. Everything is homemade and very good
quality. On this evening we will enjoy several courses of
Doc's fine food along with a selection of Oktoberfest beers,
from the light Festbiers to the maltier and darker Oktoberfest
beers from southern Germany. Time to come and get your
taste of Munich for the season!

Wednesday, October 22, at Zambra in downtown
Asheville
Zambra keeps us coming back time after time. Their
innovative preparations, top quality local ingredients, and
friendly and wine-savvy staff are as much an attraction as
they were when they opened five years ago. We never miss
an opportunity to have a wine tasting dinner there. On this
evening Chef Adam Banasch will prepare a five course meal
and the Weinhaus staff will select wines to accompany each
of the courses. Come be a part of the fun.

Monday, October 27 at Sinbad Restaurant in
Hendersonville
Sinbad is celebrating their 15th anniversary this year. They
began on 4th St. in Hendersonville but had the opportunity
to buy an old farmhouse in the middle of town and convert
it to a restaurant. They normally close on Mondays but are
willing to open up specially for us to host a wine tasting
dinner. We enjoy the special attention and the unique and
delicious food they always serve. On this evening we will
enjoy a wine tasting dinner featuring chef Alan Reiss's fine
cuisine and Sylvie and Kanaan Kassab's great hospitality.

Friday, November 7 Our Free Fall Customer Appreciation
Tasting
It's that time of year again! Time for one of our favorite
events of the year. We will line up an impressive array of all
styles and kinds of wine and have them available for tasting.
Your job is to bring a dish, something you enjoy having
with wine. With your help we will have a great evening.

Wednesday, November 12 - A Gala Wine Tasting Dinner
featuring St Supery Wines at Vincenzo's Ristorante on
Market Street in downtown Asheville
What a combination! One of our favorite wineries from
California and one of our favorite restaurants! Vincenzo's
has consistently provided us with top quality food and
service in the fifteen years we have been holding wine tasting
dinners there. Dwight Butner, the owner, knows service,
and his wait staff is always attentive and well-trained. St
Supery is a medium sized Napa Valley winery which makes
excellent Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. On
this evening, Donna Creese from the winery will be there to
present a variety of St Supery.s wines paired with Vincenzo's
delectable food. Seating is limited and this promises to be
a highlight of the wine year, so make plans early!

Wednesday, December 10 at Sugo next door to the
Weinhaus
Sugo has become one of our favorite oases in downtown
Asheville. The food is great and the staff is very
knowledgeable both about their cuisine and about wine and
wine pairing. We heartily recommend them for everything
from nice a casual evening to your best special occasion.
Chef/Owner Damien and his wife Lindsay Cavicchi do a
fine job of making us feel at home with outstanding food,
too. Join us this evening as we enjoy a five course meal
with wines chosen specially by the Weinhaus to pair with
Damien's unique handmade/homemade cuisine. Don't
miss it!!
